THE PRESIDENT ATE A DOG, BIG DEAL !

No matter what the president does he just can't win! Romney caught flack earlier this year when it was learned that in 1983 he took the family dog, strapped it down in a dog kennel and placed it on the roof of the car while he traveled form Boston Canada.

Now Romney aides have pointed out that when President Obama was a child in Indonesia he was fed dog meat.

Actually this story is really not even breaking news. The president himself wrote about it in his best-selling memoir, "Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance".  The president recalls being fed dog meat as a young boy in Indonesia with his stepfather, Lolo Soetoro.

His stepfather, who practiced a form of Islam that included ancient animist and Hindu faiths, believed that a man took on the powers of what he ate. President Obama was also fed snake meat and roasted grasshoppers. His stepfather also promised him he would one day bring home tiger meat. This practice is nothing new for the people of Indonesia.

Anyone with a television and cable has seen shows where the host goes to different parts of the world eating all kinds of crazy crap. Just because Europeans don't do it that doesn't mean it's wrong and it doesn't make other cultures inferior.

Whether Romney condones the story or not it just goes to show you the lengths a campaign will go to in order to slander someone.

If this is all the Romney campaign can dig up on the president then Obama is going to win in a landslide.

If you’re thinking about running for president you better keep track of what you eat! I suggest you keep your meals simple and bland because you never know when your food intake will be called into question!

 Bon Appetite!

JEALOUSY AND THE STAY AT HOME MOM

Last week CNN Democratic contributor Hilary Rosen apologized to Ann Romey (wife of Mitt Romney) for making remarks regarding Romney's choice to stay at home and raise her five boys rather than being a working mother. Rosen stated that Mrs. Romney “never worked a day in her life” and “never really dealt with the kinds of economic issues that a majority of the women in this country are facing.”

Even President Obama chimed stating "There is no tougher job than being a mom. When I think about what Michelle's had to do, when I think about my own mom, a single mother raising me and my sister, that's work. So anybody who would argue otherwise, I think, probably needs to rethink their statement. The First Lady also made a comment; "Every mother works hard, and every woman deserves to be respected".

Ann Romey has stated it was her career choice to be a Mom.

Let's not get mad at Ann Romey for having a game plan. Most women don’t. Most women have kids without planning, and then they get married while at the same time trying to get their careers on track while arguing with their husbands over money.

Ann Romney played it smart. She went to college, picked a rich guy who she knew was going places, married him, had kids, and the rest is history.

I have the feeling that even if Ann Romney had a job she still wouldn't be respected because she's rich. I guess the fact that she has multiple sclerosis really doesn't matter either. After all she's rich and she can afford the best health care in the world right?

Not every mother in the United States has a hard luck story. Some of them actually do well for themselves whether they have a man or not.

Some women really marry men that are financially stable and some women actually want to stay home and raise a family without having to deal with all the drama that comes with being a working mom struggling from pay check to pay check trying to make ends meet.

This is the 21st century and we as women have choices in life. Ann Romney made her choice and it should be respected. All mothers should be respected whether they work in or outside the home.

Hopefully this issue will be put to rest but I have a feeling this is the start of a lot of drama!
