WHAT HAPPENED TO HIS HEAD ?

There have always been speculation & conspiracy theories regarding experts that have been done on Black people. What your about to read is not a conspiracy theory or speculation . It's fact and it's more disturbing than any horror film.

The story takes place in Lyles Station , Indiana. Lyles Station started out as a Black settlement created by  freed slave Joshua Lyles in the 1840's and the town flourished. It is now considered an historical landmark.

Unfortunately in 1928 Lyles Station became known for something else.

In 1928 Black parents were told that there was a new treatment for ringworm. It was a lie.

Ten children, including five year old Vertus Wellborn Hardiman didn't get treated for ringworm but were given a massive dose of radiation. From that day forward his life was never the same. The radiation slowly began to dissolve his skull bones to the point that he had to wear hats & wigs for the rest of his life.

He literally developed a massive hole in his head and everyday he had to clean his head wounds.
Despite all this, he worked for the Los Angeles County General Hospital for 45 years & maintained an excellent work record.

He became friends with a fellow church member, Wilbert Smith,PhD,author, & writer and that's when Vertus told him what happened to him when he was five and why his head is always covered. It was a secret he had been keeping for over 70 years.

He passed away on June 1, 2007 at the age of 85 but the story doesn't end with his death.

Before he died he allowed Wilbert Smith to make a documentary about what happened to him & in the film he finally shows the world what he's been hiding under his hats. The documentary was released in 2011 and a scholarship has been named in his honor.

Of course there are people that try to bring up how other races were experimented on and how Black experiments have nothing to do with racism because Whites have been experimented on as well. You can draw your own conclusions.

All I know is despite slavery, lynchings, & experiments :

"STILL I RISE " !
